    I have passed by this place for years, always meaning to stop. We'll, I finally did and OMG! I have been missing out on some EXCELLENT food! Can't wait to go back and a big reccomend and I did a video on my Culinaryadventureclubusa IG page. Do yourself a favor and stop, don't just drive by. As a matter of fact, make it a destination, you won't be disappointed (unless your vegan or something then you may be, but the coleslaw was stellar too!) OH and do yourself a favor and get the brisket gravy over rice!

    Canyon City Barbecue is a small hole in the wall in Azusa that serves some awesome barbecue. It's stood the test of time and has a devoted base. My recommendations are the ribs and the pulled pork, also the corn bread is no joke. They also have craft beer on tap to enjoy as well. Wholeheartedly recommend this eatery where the portions are generous and the food delicious.

    I’ve been to this place a few times but never wrote the review for it. First of all, in this area, this is the best bbq spot. With that being said, the customer service upon entering the restaurant was sketchy at first but it got better as I stayed to order my food. I had to drive here to order because the phone never got answered nor did the online service work. I got the chicken sandwich, / chicken, fries, mac & cheese, and Cole slaw. The sandwich was good, the chicken was okay and the sides were decent. You can dine in if you want but at the time I went, they were really busy so the wait from what I seen was about to minutes. I don’t think they take reservations. I would say to go and visit the place for yourself. It is worth the drive if you’re in the area. I would not say drive from LA to come here when there are other spots along the way.

    Hit up Canyon City BBQ for lunch based on it’s strong positive reviews. The staff were all professional and good at communicating with customers. We were seated quickly. The wait staff were quick to take the order and shortly thereafter the food began to arrive. There was a variety of sauces available to enhance the flavors of the order. All items ordered were flavorful and delicious. If you like BBQ, the Canyon City BBQ is worth the visit.
